Bored at Work?

bored at work

Bored at Work? Not as bored as this guy.

I don’t know whether to be proud or depressed, but I do know that I’ve got a great and haunting memory to recall the next time I think I’m bored while coding HTML or something similar. The other night I discovered the true peak of tedium.

You see, it was inventory day at my retail store and of course, everything needs to be precisely counted. Understandable.

After counting DVD’s, blue-rays and other mildly annoying things, I was then chosen for what I hope was a task that nobody else had the mental stamina to undertake.

The boss walks by, he casually sets the blackberry down and smiles as his boss scolds another worker for being on facebook at one of the nearby computer terminals. So, even though this commissioned salesperson isn’t making a dime tonight, he knows his continued blogging will continue to draw visitors to his site for years to come through the magic of backlinks – thereby making him at least a little coin for his time. » Read more: SEO Blogging Goes Mobile!

3D Avatar & Writing for the Web

It seemed very natural, as if it were meant to be. Then that got me thinking about keywords vs. content (on the way home from the movie, of course – much too much excitement during) So many times on sites like ezine articles I really get the feeling like I’m watching a crappy 3D movie where there’s always a sword being pointed at me for no reason at all.  » Read more: 3D Avatar & Writing for the Web
