3D Avatar & Writing for the Web

Ok so I just saw the movie avatar in 3D. Awesome movie, really enjoyed it. The 3D wasn’t overdone, it didn’t detract from the overall experience of the movie like some do. It seemed very natural, as if it were meant to be. Then that got me thinking about keywords vs. content (on the way home from the movie, of course – much too much excitement during) So many times on sites like ezine articles I really get the feeling like I’m watching a crappy 3D movie where there’s always a sword being pointed at me for no reason at all.  » Read more: 3D Avatar & Writing for the Web

Paperless Office

December 10th, 2009 by Peter No comments »

I was just working away and noticed that, at my day job, I have several binders full of paper, a drawer full of documents, a locker full of business cards and training materials – but here, online, I have Google. Google calender that syncs with my blackberry. Document storage. Picture storage, email, news, weather, sports… Just kind of struck me as being amazing – and the best part is, Google organizes everything for me! I honestly am a messy person, but in Google, all my contacts are alphabetized, I don’t have to struggle to read my own writing, I can’t lose anything or spill coffee on everything. It’s just really cool. What’s really messed up is that it’s free. Kudos Google, you make me a better me.
