It may take until 2022 until it’s fully implemented! Parts of it are tested and stable, and are in use today.

Is the Best CMS no CMS?

So what CMS is right for you? There’s a ton out there. Some are free, some you pay for – they all have a ton of really cool features. More and more though, people are turning to a simple, easy to use, google PR friendly blog.

Obviously, if you need something complicated like a shopping cart or a forum you’ll still need a CMS- oh, wait, what’s this. Ecommerce themes? Ecommerce plugins? Wow… WordPress e-Commerce Plugin seems to be the standard for a light and cool little shopping cart. They boast “Over 500,000 + downloads, stability, security and tight WordPress integration make it the right choice for growing your business online.” And why not? Admittedly wordpress is a lot easier to use than Joomla or Drupal CMS or any of the other ones out there. SEO is a lot easier too with so many high PR blogs itching to link to cool content for their followers. I’ve seen blogs rack up a PR6 homepage within a couple months of being online, which is just outstanding.

What about forums? Yet again, several plugins exist. I think feature-wise, a wordpress blog has nearly as much going for it as a CMS does. So why even consider CMS?

How clean is your floor?

How quick do you form an opinion? Do you think that you really care what a store’s floor looks like? Would that affect your decision on whether to buy or not? Probably not consciously.  Maybe not at all, but let us marvel at the complexity of the human brain for a sec. Before you even go into a retail store, you just KNOW that there’s probably 10 places within a 30 minute drive you could go to to look at the same item (even ebay and online stores) – you have options as to where to buy, but you end up only buying from one place.
